BM Monofil 2300 Diamond Wire Frame Saw

Frame saw for squaring and obtaining thick slabs from rough blocks of granite, sawing through a diamond wire.

The machine is manufactured from steel structural work connected through a crosspiece. At the two ends there are two uprights, also constructed of steel, housing the flywheels, which are adjustable to keep the tension of the diamond wire.

A motor speed variator controls the speed of the wire which, is variable from 5 to 37 meter/minute, in order to obtain the best speed of the diamond wire according to the hardness of the block being sawn

The tensioning of the diamond wire is made through a hydraulic cylinder controlled from a central control panel which, can sense if the wire breaks and will automatically stop the machine.

The down feed of the diamond wire is fully automatic and is adjusted through an electric motor. In case of an excessive increase in the electrical input, the diamond wire feed will be decreased automatically.

The presence of an operator is not required as it is equipped with automatic devices which, will stop the machine in the case of unusual irregularities.
