The combined grinding/calibrating machine performs calibration to required thickness and fine grain grinding of the surfaces being processed. This machine is generally installed in modular production lines that prepare the surfaces of workpieces for subsequent puttying procedures. Structural characteristics are the same as those of the preceding version. The calibrating motor/spindles and the grinding wheel-head are installed inside the fixed steel bridge. The machine has a computerised system monitoring the presence of workpieces for automatic engagement and exclusion of the grindwheel spindles.
