Slab Smoothing Machine

This machine is a new concept in totally automatic slab smoothing machines that performs fine smoothing of the surface of the workpiece being processed. Generally this machine is inserted in a modular processing line to prepare the surfaces of workpieces for subsequent puttying. The compact structure is sized to absorb strong dynamic stresses. It consists of on electric-welded and normalised steel base that carries the conveyor belt with a specially shaped, belt cover and also carries a mobile bridge. The cast iron wheel-heads are fastened inside this mobile bridge. All guards are made of stainless steel and in corrosion-proof anodized aluminium.
