Filterpress – Aggregate Washing

Filterpresses for the treatment of aggregates are designed to run automatically without an operator and they take about 20-60 minutes to complete a full pressing cycle, depending on the physical-chemical nature of the treated material. They consist of a fully heat galvanized top beamed structure and the filter plates are assembled only in the top central area. This system enables plate oscillation during the opening phase and allows for the discharge of the dehydrated panels without the use of mechanical beaters. The plates are subdivided in 20 unit packs selected by a pneumatic cart that revolve jointly with the hydraulic cylinder. The sludge is feed by anti-abrasive centrifugal pumps specially designed to feed the filterpresses. The electronics are managed by PLC with a TOUCH SCREEN exterior terminal with the possibility of remote control access.
